Chelsea vs Manchester United will see a age-long rivalry renewed on Monday, February 17, as Blues are set to host their Premier League rivals at Stamford Bridge in a tough encounter that will prove supremacy test on both giants.

United and Chelsea just returned from their winter break and all hands are on deck from both sides for tonight's tie.

Unfortunately, Blues and Red Devils will miss the presence of their talismen in Marcus Rashford and Tammy Abraham, but United will hope to find solace in their deadline day signing Odion Ighalo.

Abraham has scored 13 goals and bagged three assists, while Rashford has also been involved in 18 goals despite United's run of inconsistency in the league.

Both England internationals are not showing a sign of full fitness, and Frank Lampard may be forced to put Michy Batshuayi upfront, after all the Belgian has scored six goals and made two assists for the Blues this season.

In the defence, Lampard could put Antonio Rudiger, Andreas, Cesar Azpilicueta, Christensen and Reece James on test, with Kepa Arrizabalaga standing between the sticks again.

N'Golo Kante and Jorginho will make their starting role in the midfield with Callum Hudson-Odoi and Willian partnering with Mason Mount in his No. 10 role.

Chelsea are currently fourth on the table with 41 points in 26 games, while Manchester United are 9th on the log with 35 points.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng had reported that Liverpool manager, Jurgen Klopp, has extended hands of sympathy for his rival Pep Guardiola and the whole Manchester City team after the club was slammed with a two-season ban by UEFA.
