Happy birthday mother of the nation - Presidency celebrates Aisha Buhari

Bashir Ahmad, the personal assistant to President Muhammadu Buhari on new media, on Monday, February 17, joined millions of Nigerians to celebrate Nigeria's First Lady, Her Excellency, Aisha Buhari as she clocks 49.

The president's aide took to his social media page to pen heartfelt words to the first lady with a series of pictures. He described the wife of Nigeria's president as a mother of the nation.

Ahmad also asked God to grant Mrs. Buhari more wisdom, health and wonderful years.

Similarly, Nollywood actress Funke Adesiyan, who is a political aide to Nigeria's first lady, Aisha Buhari, has wished the first woman in Nigeria a happy birthday with sweet words. The actress showered the first lady with praises.

She shared a photo of Buhari on her Instagram page with a lengthy post. Adesiyan gushed about the woman and what she has done for the country.

In the Instagram post, Adesiyan described the first lady as an Amazon woman with virtues. She noted that Buhari's noble deeds and determination for the right of women, children and the vulnerable stand out.

Legit.ng previously reported that the First Lady on Tuesday, December 17, 2019, sent a warm message to her husband, President Muhammadu Buhari, as he turned77 years.

On her Twitter page, Aisha referred to the president as the incorruptible GMB (General Muhammadu Buhari). The First Lady wished her husband God's protection and blessing of good health as he continues to take the country to greater heights.

In a related development, Aisha met with her predecessor, Patience Jonathan, at the State House on Monday, February 10. The first lady who shared the pictures from the meeting on her official Facebook Page on Tuesday, February 11, explained that the status of women participation in politics was the focus of their discussion.
