Giannis Antetokounmpo has joined the unending debate on who the better player between Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi.
The Milwaukee Bucks star gave his take on the Juventus and Barcelona superstars and his opinion drove fans on social media crazy.
Before the NBA ll-Star game between the Easter and Western Conference, Giannis was presented with a Messi's shirt and Ronaldo's Real Madrid jersey.
He replies: “I love both Messi and Ronaldo.
“But I’ll probably go with Ronaldo.”
The video of Giannis' response went viral and was viewed over 275,000 times on Twitter as fans of both players commented.
And was asked who his the favourite among two of the greatest footballers who have won 11 Ballon d'Or awards between them.
“He knows what’s good,” one said.
Another commented: “My f***ing guy.”
While a third simply added: “He knows.”
But fans of Messi were left furious.
One added: “Awful decision.”
A fifth made a brutal demand to Antetokounmpo.
“Delete immediately,” they said.
Ronaldo became the first Serie A player to score in 12 consecutive games the the New Year but not available in Juve's 2-0 win over Brescia.
On the other hand, Messi helped La Blaugrana closed to the gap on Real Madrid following a 2-1 win over Getafe.
