- Norwich vs Liverpool's Premier League game ended in favour of the Reds
- Sadio Mane scored a stunning goal in the 78th minute after his return from injury to hand the Reds maximum victory
- Mane's goal in the meeting took his tally in the EPL to 100 - 75 of which are for Liverpool
Sadio Mane's subline strike was all Liverpool needed to outshine stubborn Norwich City to stretch their unbeaten run to 26 games this campaign.
The Senegalese star announced his return to the Reds team with his 78th-minute thunderous striker from close range.
It was like Mane never left after scoring that stunning goal through a Jordan Henderson's long pass mid-way on the pitch.
The 29-year-old picked out the new returnee who was sparsely marked by a Norwich defender towards the hosts' danger zone.
Having read his teammate's countenance, the reigning African football king also started running towards the home team's goal post.
His early flight from his previous position paid off as he beat the only back man shadow-marking him, used his right to control the ball to his left and launched the unstoppable shot.
And it was the only goal that the Merseyside outfit needed to secure maximum points and stretch their leadership on the table 25 points.

They are also one step closer to breaking Arsenal's 49 matches unbeaten record over a decade ago - the same season the Gunners last won the English topflight.
Mane's goal also marked his 100th Premier League goal since he arrived in England - 25 for Southampton and 75 for the Reds.
Manchester United are the only team strong enough to have forced Jurgen Klopp's men to a draw earlier in the season.
However, they failed to replicate the form at Anfield as Virgil van Dijk and Mohamed Salah both scored to send the Red Devils back to Old Trafford without a single point.
Meanwhile, Mane's recent form after a few weeks out is a morale booster for the Reds ahead of their Champions League rounds of 16 encounters against Atletico Madrid.
It will be a case of two managers with different tactical inputs - Klopp with attacking style while Diego Simeone will also structure his team to defend.
Legit.ng earlier reported that Premier League's most successful clubs Manchester United and Liverpool are reportedly in signing Arsenal youngster Bukayo Saka in the next transfer window.
The 18-year-old midfielder who also doubles as left-back for the north Londoners so far this season has scored twice in 21 appearances across competitions.
He broke into the Gunners' first-team under former boss Unai Emery and has continued his impressive run under new manager Mikel Arteta.
