John Obi Mikel has joined a host of other celebrities in the world to celebrate Valentine's Day on his social media handle.
Mikel's partner Olga Diyachenko was also in the spirit of love for her life-long lover as the pair exchanged sweet messages to each other for the sake of February 14.
The Trabzonspor star who usually caresses the ball in the midfield was full of eulogies to the mother of his twin daughters Ava and Mia.
"Happy valentines to the love of my life you are the most beautiful,wonderful and most amazing partner, mother and partner, so happy and proud of what we have archived as a family, I love so much and will always forever #happyvalentinesday my love."
In response to Mikel's message Olga also shared a heartwarming message to the former Chelsea defensive midfielder.
"Happy V day my love. I’m glad I make you feel so at ease you always fall asleep. May I always bring you that much peace my love."
The two lovebirds have been together since 2013 and their love for each other have been waxing stronger with their five-year-old daughters.
After retiring from international duties with the Super Eagles in 2019, Mikel proceeded to join Trabzonspor in the Turkish Super Lig.
He had a ten-year spell with Premier League giants Chelsea, then the next three years in the Chinese Super League with Tianjin Teda.
Mikel's six-month spell with Championship side Middlesbrough was not renewed but the former Nigerian international is still active in the game.
The former Lyn Oslo star's major trophy with Nigeria was the 2013 Nations Cup title, as well as the Olympic bronze medal at the Rio 2016 Olympics.
