Karim Benzema has surprisingly emerged as the football star with highest release clause on the planet with the Real Madrid forward's buyout clause worth a whopping £846.7 million.
The Frenchman joined the Spanish giants in 2009 and has since gone to make over three hundred appearances for them bagging over two hundred goals.
Benzema has been involved in staggering 19 league goals this season, scoring 13 and bagging impressive six assists in the process. It was Barcelona superstar Lionel Messi who has pulled the trigger more than him.
