There is a general belief that to be a good leader, one must first learn how to serve. Perhaps, this was what the deputy governor of Kaduna state, Hadiza Sabuwa Balarabe, had in mind when she decided to fight a fire herself.
There was recently a fire incident at the Government Girls Secondary School in Kawo, Kaduna state. Balarabe, who was present at the school, was captured on camera attempting to help.
In the video, she was seen rushing to the scene of the fire with a bucket of water in her hand, surrounded by her security aides who remained focused on protecting her and keeping people at bay, amidst the chaos of the fire.
