- Jurgen Klopp predicted Liverpool would clinch their first Premier League title in 2020
- The German boss was appointed manager of the Reds in October 2015 as a replacement for Brendan Rodgers
- Klopp made the bold statement in his first presser at the club five years back.
Liverpool are few points away from winning their first Premier League title in over three decades this season.
The Reds are sitting comfortably atop of the English topflight table with 73 points after 25 rounds of matches so far - 22 points ahead of Manchester City who won the cup last term.
Jurgen Klopp's men came close to winning the silverware last campaign but City edged them out with just one point.
He was however said to have predicted that the Merseyside outfit would win the trophy in 2020 as reported by Sport Bible.
Klopp was named Liverpool boss on October 8th, 2015 - replacing former manager Brendan Rodgers who finished sixth on the table the previous season.
The ex-Borussia Dortmund handler finished two steps lower than his predecessor at the end of the same season he was hired.

Klopp, 52, bettered his performance in his first full season finishing fourth on the table and qualify them for the Champions League.
Liverpool's position on the table remained unchanged at the end of the 2017-18 season after finishing fourth but 2018-19 was a lot more different.
The same season he finished just one point behind City, he grabbed his first-ever Champions League title after beating Tottenham Hotspur in the final in Madrid.
Klopp said after his appointment: "Last night we signed the contract and this morning I wake and I'm the manager of Liverpool FC.
"Please give us time to do the work but when I sit here in four years I think we may have one title. If not maybe [I'll win] the next one in Switzerland!"
Despite starting his reign with back-to-back draws Tottenham Hotspur and Southampton, the tactician urged the club's fans to exercise patience.
Legit.ng earlier reported that Mark Gretton, a Liverpool fan, is confident his club will be crowned league champions at the end of this season and has already gotten a tattoo that reads 'Premier League Champions 2019/20'.
The Reds have a 22-point lead over Man City and Gretton believes its game over despite 13 league games left to play in the season.
Jurgen Klopp's men need six more wins to secure the title and Gretton believes the league is done and dusted.
