Nollywood actress Ibiwari Etuk celebrates freedom as she’s saved from kidnappers’ den

Nollywood actress Ibiwari Etuk has taken to her Instagram page to share her experience at a kidnappers’ den while thanking God for seeing her through the incidence.

Describing the unfortunate event as walking through the valley of death, Etuk said, coming out of captivity unhurt was a testimony.

According to her, the incident happened between January 6 and 8, this year. She explained that she was held hostage by four men of the underworld, who kidnapped her alongside her car.

The actress said that she lost all her money but she was not bothered about that as her life was more important to her. She narrated that she was offered food and water but she refused because she feared passing out.

Following the constant threat of being killed if ransom was not paid, Etuk noted that she could not also sleep because of the frightening sounds she heard inside the bush both in the day and at night.

The fair actress explained that she was blindfolded while her hands and legs were bound, leaving her so scared. Reminiscing on the experience, the beautiful woman said she is scared when it’s dark, however, she noted that she is getting over it through the help of the people around her.

Etuk’s friends and fans have taken to her Instagram comment section to congratulate her and thank God on her behalf.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng earlier reported that Christabel and Jasmine Ataga, the children of Kaduna-based doctor have been released by their kidnappers. The children's mother was killed after their family failed to pay a ransom of N150 million.

Legit.ng explained that the children were kidnapped alongside their mother at their residence in Kaduna state. Two weeks after their abduction, the Ataga kids were released on January 25.
