Zlatan Ibrahimovic has expressed anger and frustration to his side's 4-2 defeat against Inter Milan in which Antonio Conte's side came from two goals down to win the derby.

AC Milan were leading 2-0 after the first 45 minutes in which Zlatan Ibrahimovic netted the second goal before they suffered a defeat against their city rivals.

The stunning win over AC Milan also took Inter Milan to the top of the Serie A standings where they are tied on the same point with Juventus but separated on goals difference.

After ending the first half of this derby leading 2-0, the expectation of AC Milan fans was for their team to capitalize on their lead and get the maximum three points.

But they never foresaw that Antonio Conte and his men would come back in a stunning way in the second half to score four goals.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic was frustrated with the defeat and blasted his teammates not to have stood firm on their lead despite the plans for the second half.

The former Manchester United star explained that they talked about how big the first 15 minutes will be in the second half and the need to be cautious against their opponents.

But he expressed sadness that the first 15 minutes in the second half was when Inter Milan fired two goals back against them.

He also explained that his teammates lost hope immediately Inter Milan scored two goals and stopped believing in themselves in the encounter.

Meanwhile, AC Milan will aim to redeem themselves against Juventus when they meet on Thursday in Coppa Italia semifinal first leg duel.
