Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have reportedly earned $1m (N363,000,000) for their appearance at a JP Morgan event in Florida, United States.

According to Express, the former actress and the prince attended the JP Morgan-sponsored alternative investment summit held in Florida on Thursday, February 6.

Harry was said to have discussed that he has been in therapy for the past few years to help him cope with the loss of his mother, Princess Diana.

According to a source who spoke with the New York Post, Harry talked about how the events of his childhood affected him.

The source added that Prince Harry does not want Meghan and his son Archie to go through what he went through as a child.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng previously reported that American media executive and philanthropist Oprah Winfrey denied helping Prince Harry and Meghan Markle on leaving their posts as senior members of the royal family.

Winfrey said it is false that she was the first person the couple spoke to about their departure, adding that Harry and Meghan do not need her help figuring what is best for them.

Oprah said she cares about the couple and is in support of whatever decision they make for their family.

In other news, the father of the Duchess of Sussex, Thomas Markle, revealed that he cried seeing his daughter marry Harry after he left the hospital.

The 75-year-old man in a 90-minute video that aired on Tuesday, January 21, said that he watched the ceremony after his recovery from a heart attack.

In the same documentary, Markle’s dad said that he was also jealous to see the Prince of Wales doing what he ought to have done by walking his daughter down the aisle.

He said he cannot forget that particular moment and the emotions that it came with.

The father also spoke about how Prince Harry always behaves like a very sensitive 12-year-old kid, adding that his daughter and the royal family owe him because Meghan promised to take care of him when he aged.
