German giants Bayern Munich have ruled out the possibility of them signing Portugal international Cristiano Ronaldo claiming that the Portuguese will be too old for the club.
There were reports before the close of the January transfer window that Bayern Munich were interested in signing Cristiano Ronaldo, but no deal was done.
Cristiano Ronaldo will be 37 years by the time his current deal with Juventus expires in two years time after joining them from Spanish giants Real Madrid.
And since Franck Ribery and Arjen Robben left Bayern Munich last summer, the side have been looking for capable replacements.
Although Bayern Munich are still desperate to sign winger Leroy Sane and they will have to wait until the end of the season before going for his signature of the Manchester City star.
Bayern Munich president Herbert Hainer recently attended a fan event where he was asked by the club's faithfuls on the possibility of them to sign the Portugal international.
But while responding, he explained that there are many names on the list of Bayern Munich adding that Cristiano Ronaldo is not among them because he will be too old for the club to sign.
Cristiano Ronaldo who recently turned 35 has made it clear that he is ready to continue playing football for the next five years claiming that he will still be fit.
So far in his football career, Cristiano Ronaldo has won virtually all trophies while playing for Manchester United, Real Madrid and Juventus.
The former Manchester United star has not won the FIFA World Cup and it is not certain if Ronaldo will be able to win the title before he retires from football.
