Real Madrid's 21-match unbeaten run came to an abrupt end following their 4-3 defeat to Real Sociedad in the last eight stage of their Copa Del Rey clash at the Santiago Bernabeu.
The visitors got the game off to a flying start after two goals from Alexander Isak and one from Martin Odegaard gave them a three-goal lead in the first half.
Real would be unhappy to have loaned Odegaard the Royal Blues as he got the opening goal against his parent club in the early minutes of the meeting.
Marcelo reduced Los Blancos' deficit in the 59th minute but it only took ten minutes for Mikel Merino to restore the visitors' three goals advantage.
And the Welshman could not bear watching his side torn into pieces in front of their home fans as he stormed out of the stadium towards the end of the game.
Though, two late goals from Rodrygo and Nacho Fernandez in the 81st and 90th minutes gave the home team a lifeline but not enough to earn them a win at the end of the match.
According to Daily Star, Bale was spotted driving off the premises of the stadium with eight minutes to the final whistle.
The publication further states that Real has a standing rule that a player can leave the stadium after 80 minutes provided they are not included in the matchday squad.
