Anthony Joshua is set to face Kubrat Pulev for the title defence of his WBO, WBA, IBF and IBO belts at the Tottenham Hostspur Stadium.
The heavyweight champion has traveled across United States and Saudi Arabia to face Andy Ruiz Jr, in a bout that saw him lost his belts and reclaimed it.
Promoter Eddie Hearn is fascinated with AJ returning home this summer to contest against Pulev in London.
"We're very close. I had a meeting with AJ last night.
"We've had offers in from the Far East, Middle East, Africa, America, Turkey.
"He's made it very clear to me: 'I want to come home. I want to box in London next. I've been to Madison Square Garden, I've been to Saudi Arabia, bring me home. Forget the other offers, bring me home'.
"He wants to fight in London in June. We're on the verge of making that happen now.
"Spurs is the front runner and that's what he's asked me to do. We'll be delivering that for him," he told Sky Sports.
Arsenal's home ground the Emirates Stadium has also been rumoured to be the next venue of Joshua's fight with Twickenham also on the cards.
The 30-year-old has had 22 of his 24 fights held in the United Kingdom and his contest with the Bulgarian veteran will give him the home advantage.
Many fans across the world want AJ's next opponent to be between the winner of Deontay Wilder and Tyson Fury but he must contend with the IBF and WBO mandatory challengers first.
