Marcus Rashford has renewed his loyalty with Man United, vowing not to take the historical greatness of the club for granted as he joined millions across the world to pay remembrance to the victims of Munich air disaster in 1958.

The English forward has been on incredibly outstanding form for the Theatre of Dreams outfits under manager Ole Gunnar since the begining of the campaign.

With 14 goals and four assists in just 1886 minute played, Rashford's astonishing statistics, despite Reds' current cluster of woeful run in the league, defines him as the engine room of United.

However, his dream to help Man United have a good season was put on temporary halt after he picked up an injury.

The England international is set to be sidelined for more than two months due to ankle injury, putting United's hope sealing a top-four spot in danger.

But in a post on his Twitter handle accompanied by the pictures of Man United late legends, the 22-year-old pledged his love for the club, saying he is always proud to wear the jersey.

"There’s not a day goes by that I take this shirt for granted. The Flowers of Manchester,'' Marcus Rashford said.

The 22-year-old striker's message is a tribute to the victims of Munich air disaster which occurred on February 6, 1958, when British European Airways Flight 609 carrying Man United players crashed at Munich-Riem Airport in old West Germany.

The air disaster killed 20 of the 44 people on board while there were only 21 survivors as two more people died in the hospital.

The sad day is an indelible terrible mark in the history of Manchester United which the club and people who have an attachment to its history remember every February 6.
