A Nigerian man identified as Eze Chinyere Ugo took to Facebook to share his thoughts on gender quality. The man had replied a post shared by a user who noted that daughters are as important as sons.

Ugo commented that a male child is worth more than ten daughters. He said anyone who is not blessed with a male child should continue to pray to God because a male child will always be a male child.
According to him, without a male child, a generation will go into extinction immediately the father dies because there is no one to carry on the family name.
