Man pleads not to be taken back to prison after buying 2 iPhone 11 Pro with fake alert

- A young man who claims to be named Akeem has been apprehended after trying to dupe phone vendors

- In a video online, he pleaded with his accusers not to let him go back to prison as he claimed he had just been released

The level of insecurity in the country is one that has become a cause for concern amongst many people. Some individuals would rather hoodwink hard-working people of their cash than to sweat and do real work to make money.

Legit.ng has sighted the report of a young man who was apprehended after he tried to buy luxury mobile phones with fake bank alerts.

In a video and WhatsApp chats that have been making the rounds on social media, it was gathered that the young man tried to buy two iPhone 11 pro mobile phones with a fake bank alert.

After he was caught, the young man who claims to be named Akeem, went down on his knees to beg his victims not to punish him.

Akeem pleaded that he had just been released from prison and he would not like to go back there.

In the WhatsApp chat that was shared alongside the video, another victim of Akeem claimed that the guy is a chronic liar and has also tried to play a fast one on him in the past.

The person added that Akeem has not previously been in prison as he claimed and that he is most likely operating with a fake name. It was also said that they have no way of knowing if he is speaking the truth.
