Odion Ighalo has been given a rousing welcome on social media by Manchester United after the former Watford star was handed a pleasant unveiling on Tuesday, February 4.
The 30-year-old AFCON Golden boot winner completed a dream sensational EPL return after agreeing to terms with the Old Trafford outfits, albeit without no option of purchase at the end of the season.
From his hood in Ajegule to Manchester, Ighalo becomes the first Nigerian to don and play for the Old Trafford outfits after a six-month deal from Shanghai Shenhua.
Although Ighalo, 30, has two years left on his contract with the Chinese side, the deal means Ighalo would stay with the EPL side till the end of the season, filling the void of injured Marcus Rahsford.
United were reported to have paid a loan fee between £2 million and £4 million for Shanghai Shenhua.
After the necessary and documentations have been done the sensational forward was unveiled with Jersey number 25 to the delight of United fans.
Reds fans have now taken to micro-blogging platform Twitter to welcome their new star member amid towering expectations.

''We wish am all the best! E go score pass 15 goals for United,'' a Twitter handle Man United in pidgin tweeted.
“Welcome to the greatest football club in the world & good luck during your stay with us”, another fan wrote on the platform.
“Best striker in the world,” claimed a second.
“The Nigerian Eagle as finally landed,” added a third.
“Keep on soaring and banging in the goals to shut all haters. GGMU”.
Meanwhile, Legit.ng had reported that Manchester United have listed their January deadline signing Odion Ighalo in their squad for the Europa League round 32 stage.
The Nigerian football star joined the Red Devils in a most-unanticipated fashion for the remainder of the ongoing season following Marcus Rashford's injury.
Prior to his move to Old Trafford last month, the 30-year-old striker had featured for Watford - scoring 17 goals and six assists in 55 Premier League appearances.
