Sergio Romero and Lee Grant are reportedly destined to leave Man United in the summer and the club have drawn up two replacements for them.

Romero has over a year left in his contract at Old Trafford and the Argentine number one is discussing his position at the club.

The 32-year-old has been subjected to the bench all through his spell with United and is desperate for first team action.

Reports claim that La Liga sides Villarreal and Real Sociedad have already sent been linked with goalkeeper and a couple of other clubs in Europe.

Romero currently earns £60,000-a-week with United and has the option to extend his terms by a further year.

The same goes to third choice Lee Grant who could been hanging his gloves at the end of the season and there have been no talks over extending his stay.

The 37-year-old has only made two appearances since joining the club from Stoke City and United are still undecided whether to bring 22-year-old Dean Henderson back from his loan at Sheffield United.

A United source said: “Sergio Romero is happy at United but there is plenty of interest being shown in him.

“At one stage, he thought he might even have a shot at being No1, but that was before David renewed his contract late last year.

“There have already been discussions to look at who might be recruited if both of them go. That's what's likely to happen."

Meanwhile, had earlier reported that Manchester United midfielder Andreas Pereira displayed his £5,000 24k gold and white iPhone 11 Pro on his social media handle.

A closer look at the phone has his initials on it alongside the words "tiki-taka legend".

Barcelona is synonymous with the term tiki-taka which is a system of fluidity in passing but Pereira who averages just 32 passes in a game is nowhere near close to the style.
