Real Madrid have been handed a major boost with the return of Belgian forward Eden Hazard who is likely to feature for the club in their Copa Del Rey against Real Sociedad.
The 29-year-old last appeared for Los Blancos in their Champions League clash against Paris Saint Germain last November.
He limped off the pitch in the 68th minute with Gareth Bale coming on for the remainder of the encounter at the Santiago Bernabeu.
However, having spent about eight weeks or more on the sidelines, the former Chelsea forward is ready to return for the Galacticos this week.
According to SunSport, the winger was initially meant to stay out for a couple of weeks but further reports claim he fractured his ankle in the process.
Meanwhile, Spanish news outlet AS stated that Hazard is fully fit and he is expected to feature in the quarter-final clash of their cup competition at home.
His return will also boost his side's confidence as they battle Manchester City in their Champions League round of 16 clash.
The winger is yet to pick up at his new club since he joined them last summer having recorded just one goal and one assist across competitions this campaign.
Pep Guardiola, on the other hand, is faced with more difficult situations after his side trail Liverpool with 22 points on the table after 25 matches.
Raheem Sterling may have suffered a hamstring injury during their 2-0 defeat to Tottenham Hotspur over the weekend.

Since he got injured, Hazard has missed 14 matches which includes the first leg of their El Clasico clash against Barcelona.
He was also missing when they battle city rivals Atletico Madrid, as well as the Supercopa against their city rivals.
Legit.ng earlier reported that Eden Hazard has explained that he has rediscovered his love for football at Real Madrid.
The Belgian claimed that he faced difficulties playing under former Chelsea managers Antonio Conte and Sarri at Chelsea.
Both bosses have returned back to Italy where they now manage Inter Milan and Juventus respectively.
Hazard who has not been enjoying active playing times at Real Madrid due to injury, however, explained that he found things tough playing under Antonio Conte and Sarri.
