A Nigerian businessman has taken to social media to defend polygamy amidst the argument it continues to cause online. Identified as Adamu Garba, he directed his message at single ladies attacking his stance.
Garba who has quite a following on Twitter compared the title of wife to that of a female governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria. According to him, becoming a wife is way better.
He wrote: "I don't know why my stand on polygamy became a source of concern, particularly to unmarried ones. You are missing a golden opportunity from my admonition....ladies. Let me tell you, having a title of a WIFE is more important to you that even becoming a female CBN governor."

The tweet got several social media users talking, most of them who didn't only disagree, they tagged the post ridiculous and some even accused him of using everything to trend.
There was even a Twitter user who accused him of being high on weed.
