Man recounts how his dad helped his sister's single life and joblessness

- A Twitter user has taken to the platform to recount how his father changed his sister's life

- According to the gist, he got tired of seeing her at home and asked her to stay out within a given time

- The said sister soon found a job and eventually, got into a relationship as well

Depending on the situation, change isn't always a thing many people welcome. However, a lot of things can happen when one decides to leave their comfort zone or in this case, gets pushed out.

Twitter user, @jayythedope recently took to the platform to recount how his father pushed his sister and how her life changed for the better.

Tired of seeing her always at home, he ordered her to go out from 8am to 5pm. She did and eventually got a job. Shortly afterwards, she got a boyfriend too.

He wrote: "My sister was single & jobless for years till my Dad said he doesn't want to see her in his house within 8am-5pm & he doesn't care where she goes to. She got one small job in less than 3weeks, got a better one the 3rd month, She also got a boyfriend later on. Stop staying indoor."

Meanwhile, a lady recently took to Twitter to explain why it is wrong for men to proffer solutions rather than give room for venting whenever their partner is having a bad day.

According to the lady identified as Thandekile, men who do this only make matters worse as they end up invalidating the emotional needs of the woman.

She further stated that men who can't differentiate when a solution is needed and when a listening ear is, often lack empathy. She further stated that one talking about a bad day doesn't mean they need solutions.
