Angeline Flor Pua, the Miss Universe of Belgium, is an amazing woman who also flies planes in her spare time.
On talking about her mixed heritage, she said that she has grown to embrace both her Belgian and Filipino cultures, Insider reports.
Though she could not get past the preliminaries for 2019 Miss Universe, she has won several titles like Miss Philippines Europe 2016, Miss Antwerp 2018, Miss Belgium 2018, among others.
Flor said that having to represent Belgium at the Miss World 2018 really changed her life. She also said that aviation has always been a thing that really gets her interest.
She linked her love for flying to the need to always want to be in control. Flor said flying is more than a job for her and more than a passion.
The beauty queen also added that getting her pilot license was very difficult and cost her a whole lot of money.
"It takes a lot of hard work, studying, and persistence. You really have to be serious and nerdy - and study hard - if you want to be a pilot. But hard work pays off right? And I'm living proof of it,” she said.
