Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen has been impressive this season for French side Lille in which many clubs showed interest in signing the Nigerian during January transfer window.
Among the clubs that were interested in signing the Nigerian star are Real Madrid and Barcelona with the Catalan giants seeing him as a long term replacement for Luis Suarez.
Real Madrid also wanted to lure Victor Osimhen to the Santiago Bernabeu as a possible replacement for Frenchman Karim Benzema.
But Lille chiefs refused to do business with any of these teams which made Victor Osimhen to remain at the club.
But the 21-year-old could be making a move to the Spanish La Laga at the end of the ongoing season in Europe.
And according to the report by Le 10 Sport, both Real Madrid and Barcelona have not given up on the signing of Victor Osimhen and they will go for him again this summer.
Lille are reported to be considering allowing Victor Osimhen to leave the side if they can get €35m from any club that is interested in signing him.
After playing 32 games this season for Lille in all competitions, Victor Osimhen has scored has netted 16 goals and still aiming to do more this term.
Osimhen has also scored four goals for Super Eagles since he broke into the first team playing seven games so far for the three-time African champions.
Meanwhile, Victor Osimhen and his teammates at Lille are currently occupying fourth position on the Ligue 1 table with 34 points after 22 games played this term.
Earlier, Legit.ng had reported how Barcelona narrowly beat visitors Levante 2-1 in Sunday's Spanish league encounter at the Camp Nou. The victory helped the Catalans reduced Real Madrid's gap on the table to three points after 22 round of fixtures.
