- The Brazilian has been heavily linked with a move to Barcelona in next summer
- But it seems Willian is not ready to break the bond with Blues amid interest from the La Liga outfits
Willan has given Chelsea a transfer boost after admitting he would be staying at Stamford Bridge amid growing interests from Spanish champions Barcelona.
The Brazilian has been in spectacular form under the leadership of club's new boss Frank Lampard and his fabulous form has attracted the interest of the Catalans.
With his contract with Chelsea ending at the end of the summer, Barcelona are desperate to lure the winger and have met his representatives on several occasions, but it seems the Brazilain ace is not interested in switching side to Spain.
According to Daily Star report, Willian has blatantly told Barcelona he is happy at Stamford Bridge, ending speculation linking him with Spain switch.
Willian joined Chelsea from Shakhtar Donetsk in 2013 and has made over 200 appearances, scoring over 32 goals.
The Brazilian is responsible for Chelsea's spark of brilliance under Lampard, hence the interest from top European powerhouse including Barcelona.
The 32-year-old star has now made it clear that he is not ready to truncate his bonds with Blues despite spending seven years at Stamford Bridge.
“I don’t want to talk to them [other clubs] because I have a contract until the end of the season," Willian said
“I am a Chelsea player but I just want to say the club know what I want to do.”
Chelsea boss Lampard once said he was in talks with the winger and his representative over a potential contract extension while passing confidence vote on the Brazilian's performance.
“He’s in talks with the club [about a contract], he speaks with the club on the money side of it.
“[He’s been] Great for me, especially when he plays like he did the other day. It was an incredible performance. He has that talent,'' the Blues boss said.
