- According to reports, she paid them a visit at their home in Los Angeles

- This comes shortly after Burna Boy lost the Best World Music Grammy award to Kidjo

It appears it is back to business for Grammy-nominated singer, Burna Boy, as he has moved on from his loss at the Grammys which left many Nigerian music lovers disappointed.

The Anybody crooner was recently sighted with Anglique Kidjo, 4-time Grammy winner and the winner of the Best World Music Award for which he was also nominated.

A photo and video have since surfaced on the internet which captures Kidjo with Burna Boy and his mother. Judging from their animated conversation, it is clear to see that there is no bad blood between them.

Recall reported the news of how Angélique Kidjo was announced the winner of the 2020 Grammy Award for Best World Music for her album Celia.

Taking the stage to accept the award for which she was nominated alongside Burna Boy, she gave a heart-melting acceptance speech in which she hailed the Nigerian music superstar for his musical talent.

Kidjo who started off her speech by dedicating the award to Burna Boy, stated that he is one of the African artistes changing the way Africa as a whole is perceived. Her speech was welcomed with huge applause from the audience.

Meanwhile, top British model, Naomi Campbell, has taken to social media to speak on Burna Boy missing out on a Grammy award. Campbell in an open letter started off by congratulating Angelique Kidjo on her win.

She went on to address why Burna Boy didn't get an award. According to her, it was a lack of education on the part of the organizers. In a lengthy open letter, she spoke about the need to create more categories that represent Afrobeats.
