Premier League side Manchester United have been offered the chance to sign Nigerian football star Odion Ighalo who currently plays for Chinese Super League side Shanghai Greenland Shenhua.

The Red Devils have been short of options in attack this season most especially when England international Marcus Rashford got injured.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has been under serious pressure at Old Trafford this term due to his side's unimpressive performance in all competitions.

Solskjaer's forwards are currently not getting it right and the Norwegian is eyeing a move for a top striker who can help his quest at Old Trafford.

Having played for Watford, Odion Ighalo is not a new name in the Premier League, and the Nigerian could be on his way to Old Trafford before the transfer window closes.
