- Charly Boy accused Obiano of being more interested in women than the business of the youths

Popular Nigerian entertainer and activist Charles Oputa popularly known as Charly Boy has taken to social media to call out Anambra state governor, Willie Obiano.
The music star started off by describing the governor as a loud, pompous and braggadocios individual.
He went on to share that he once paid a visit to Obiano’s office to discuss what can be done to improve the lives of youths in Anambra and the entire Ibo land, but the governor did not seem to be interested in working with him.
"He bragged of how he has all areas covered and seemed more interested in my female workers than the business of the youths. Willy like nyash no be here," Charly Boy’s post on Instagram read in part.

Speaking further, the controversial entertainer made it known that he has stopped contacting Obiano since their meetings in the past did not yield any action for people on the streets.
Charly Boy said after he distanced himself for a while from the Anambra governor, he received a call from him. The call, according to Charly Boy, was Obiano’s attempt to brag about the fact that he had just been knighted by the pope in Rome.
The entertainer said: "He was excited as he bored me shitless with the story of his knighthood by the Pope. In his words, it is to be the highest honor bestowed on an African he claimed. Haba, Willy, which kin lie be dat naa?
"Justice Oputa received his knighthood from the Pope too, and guess what? the gentleman didn’t lobby for it sam sam."
Concluding his post, Charly Boy noted that he still has many gist about the governor.

Reacting to the news, Charly Boy who hails from Oguta in Imo state, described it as the beginning of yet another slavery and he went on to question how long people would continue to sit and do nothing about it.
