- Duane Chapman popularly known as Dog the Bounty Hunter has proposed to his son's former girlfriend Moon Angell
- Angell and Dog the Bounty Hunter's late wife Beth were also best of friends until Beth died in June 2019
- Dog the Bounty Hunter's daughter Lyssa has condemned their relationship, accusing Angell of preying on a widower
Just seven months after his wife died of throat and lung cancer, Duane Chapman popularly known as Dog the Bounty Hunter has proposed to his son's ex-girlfriend Moon Angell.
According to Daily Mail, the 66-year-old television personality proposed to Angell in a teaser clip from the Dr Oz Show posted on Twitter on Tuesday, January 28.
Legit.ng gathers that Dog the Bounty Hunter's late wife Beth and Angell were best of friends before Beth died in June 2019.
Angell was one of the bridesmaids at Beth and Dog the Bounty Hunter's wedding in 2006.
One of Dog the Bounty Hunter's daughter Lyssa Chapman is, however, unhappy about the affair between her father and Angell.
Lyssa accused Angell of preying on her father in his most tender times, adding that Angell had dated one of Dog the Bounty Hunter's sons before.
She said: "Any person who moves in on a man weeks after losing his wife, who you were supposed to be a "friend" to, is the lowest scum on the planet-which for you wasn’t that far of a step down from where you were before. God will get you MARY!!!"
As expected, people have taken to social media to react to the development.
Laura Fritter on Facebook said: "I'm not saying he shouldn't get remarried, and I'm also not saying it's too soon (even though he said himself that he would never be with anyone else), but why to someone that your family has voiced their concerns over including your former wife? They have all come out saying she is, and will be a problem. He's broken, so I think she is taking advantage of him at this point."
Linda Dickerson Adams said: "Think he's trying to replace Beth with the person closest to her, makes him feel like Beth still here, he probably feels comfortable with her and can reminisce with her about the one person they had in common. That's good until he can work thru his grief---- but don't marry her! Time will heal you and change your feelings and your heart!"
Divina Millena De Guzman said: "Everyone deserves their little happiness and who are we to judge? If it isn’t hurting anyone let them live. He is probably still mourning and afraid to be alone but it isn’t our place to pass judgement at the end of the day."
Bobbie Takes said: "I think it's too early he always said Beth was his soulmate and he also said in an interview that he would never put anybody else in her place."
Meanwhile, Legit.ng previously reported that a bridal party in the United States was criticised since a picture emerged showing bridesmaids in red dresses on their knees in front of the groomsmen.
In the five men could be seen standing and smiling while the bridesmaids were on their knees with their heads near the men's crotches.
