Inter Milan have officially announced the signing of Christian Eriksen from Premier League side Tottenham for £17 million.

Eriksen's transfer dominated the market over the last two weeks and it seems the rebel midfielder hs finally parted ways with the North London side less than six months to his contract.

Eriksen underwent his medical on Monday, January 27, and has signed a deal until 2024 which is reportedly worth around staggering £6.5m per season plus bonuses.

The Danish star was unveiled on Tuesday, January 28 at the famous La Scala opera house in Milan after choosing to wear jersey number 24.

''I am very excited and I can't wait to get to know the fans," Eriksen said after the deal was announced.

"I have already had the opportunity to feel their warmth, it was a fantastic welcome. I feel great.

''Now the time has come to take on a new challenge, I am very happy to be able to play in Serie A and with a great club like Inter, it is a fantastic club.''

Eriksen's made his final appearance in Tottenham jersey in a league win over Norwich last week.

The Dane becomes the fourth star to join the Italian side from Premier League since the beginning of the campaign and the second to switch in the January transfer market after Ashley Young.

Romelu Lukaku and Alexis Sanchez joined the club in last summer market and have been impressive for Antonio Conte's side.

Inter are second on the league behind Juventus after sharing spoils with Cagliari in their last Serie A encounter.

Earlier, Legit.ng had reported that Ashley Young, Inter Milan recent signing, needed just 29 minutes to do more than what he did at former club Man United this season.

Making his debut for Inter, Young grabbed an assist in the 29 minute, after planting a perfect cross straight on Lautaro Martínez's head for the Argentine to score his 16th goal in all competitions this season.
