Controversial comedian Ebiye Victor has once again found himself in the middle of heavy social media backlash, following a new comedy skit that was released by him.

The popular skit maker in his new skit heavily shaded singer 9ice, who had vowed to bring home a Grammy Award in the lyrics of his 2007 hit single, Street Credibility.

In the video which was also posted on the official Twitter page of the comedian, he was seen acting out a scene that featured 9ice jubilating over the loss of Burna Boy at the recently concluded award ceremony.

The video appeared to have angered a lot of people as many used the opportunity to drag the young man for filth.

"Ebiye is funny but that skit ain’t right shading 9ice and Burna at the same. The message he’s trying to pass across in the skit is that “You’re happy your friend didn’t win” That’s a very bad concept to think of," an outraged Twitter user posted.

Another individual who was not having any of what Ebiye put forward took a swipe at his career as a comedian.

"Gongo Aso and street credibility by 9ice is evergreen but I don’t think Ebiye will ever have an evergreen comedy skit," the tweet read.
