Antonio Conte treated for irregular heartbeat after his side's 1-1 draw against Cagliari

Antonio Conte on Sunday, January 26, suffered from an irregular heartbeat and had to be treated by Inter Milan medical staff following the club's 1-1 draw at home against Cagliari.

The former Chelsea manager was frustrated with the officiating of referee Gianluca Manganiello who sent two of his players off in the tough encounter.

After the final whistle of the duel against Cagliari, Antonio Conte went to the pitch to challenge referee Gianluca over his decision to have red carded Lautaro Martinez and goalkeeper Berni.

Conte who was so furious had to be held back by Inter Milan coaching staff in which his blood pressure later rose up.

According to the report on UK Mirror, Antonio Conte's heart rated more than 100 bpm and was treated for tachycardia.

The report added that the situation forced Antonio Conte not to attend the post match press conference and he had to be treated so as to avoid danger.

Against Cagliari, England international Ashley Young made his debut for Inter Milan and he provided the fine cross that made Martinez to give his side the lead.

But Radja Nainggolan scored the equalizer for Cagliari in the 78th minute for the visitors to leave the San Siro stadium with a point.

Inter Milan are still occupying second position on the Serie A table with 48 points after 21 games and they are three points behind leaders Juventus.
