- Inter Milan vs Cagliari ended 1-1 as both teams shared the point
- Antonio Conte's men have now moved up to 48 points three behind league leaders Juventus in Serie A table
- Ashley Young got the assist for Lautaro Martínez's goal in the 29 minute before Radja Nainggolan denied Inter all three points grabbing a late equalizer
Ashley Young, Inter Milan recent signing, needed just 29 minutes to do more than what he did at former club Man United this season.
Making his debut for Inter, Young grabbed an assist in the 29 minute, after planting a perfect cross straight on Lautaro Martínez's head for the Argentine to score his 16th goal in all competitions this season.
It is Ashley Young’s first assist of the season having registered none with Man United despite playing 12 league games for the Red Devils.
The 34-year-old only joined Inter Milan last week for a fee around £1.28 million and has made an immediate impact in Conte’s 5-3-2 system playing as a wing-back.
Inter Milan went on to draw the game 1-1 but it seems former Chelsea manager Antonio Conte is already getting the best out of Young just like he did with another former Man United player Romelu Lukaku.
The Belgian has scored 14 goals in 21 games in Serie A this season and has helped put the Nerrazzuri in position to challenge Juventus for the title.
Radja Nainggolan denied Inter Milan all three points in the game as he grabbed the equalizer for Cagliari in the 78th minute.
The draw means Inter Milan move to 48 points on the Serie A log but three points behind league leaders Juventus who have a game in hand.
Meanwhile, Nigerian international Victor Moses was an unused substitute in the encounter after completing his six-month loan to Inter Milan three days ago.
Legit.ng earlier reported that Victor Moses officially joined Inter Milan on loan from Chelsea. He has had loan spells with Liverpool, West Ham, West Brom, Stoke City and Fenerbache.
The 29-year-old flourished under Antonio Conte during his short spell at Stamford Bridge winning the Premier League and the FA Cup.
It is understood the former Super Eagles star was signed on loan with a view of getting a permanent deal at the end of the season.
