Popular Nigerian singer Adekunle Gold is kicking off activities for the year with a rather dramatic and unexpected approach.

The music star recently took to his page on the micro-blogging platform, Twitter, to seek the forgiveness of the Lord, on behalf of himself and another music industry colleague.

Gold prayed the good Lord to forgive him for taking so long to work with singer Kizz Daniel on a song.

"God Please, forgive @iamkizzdanieI and I for waiting this long to get on a song together. we have sinned against you," his tweet read.
