- Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has just one year left on his current deal with the Gunners

- Reports indicate the Gabon international would fancy a move to Barca to increase chances of winning a major title

- Barcelona are looking to sign Aubameyang to replace aging Luis Suarez

Arsenal talisman Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has reportedly informed Barcelona he is ready to complete a move to Camp Nou.

Aubameyang is understood to be on Barca's wish list this January as the La Liga giants seek a permanent replacement for Luis Suarez.

Suarez is set to be sidelined for close to four months after undergoing a knee surgery, forcing Barcelona into the market in search of reinforcements.

The Catalan side is now said to have turned their focus on Aubameyang to fill the void, with the 30-year-old not keen to extend his current deal with the Gunners.

Metro UK citing sources in Spain contend the Gabonese hitman is looking to quit the Emirates outfit to boost his chances of winning a major title.

The move, however, would heavily depend on whether the Arsenal skipper will attempt to force a move away.

Meanwhile, the north London club may be unwilling to let him leave owing to his outstanding contribution since joining them from Borussia Dortmund.

He is currently an integral squad member under Mikel Arteta and would play an important role in Arsenal's campaign in their attempt to seal a Champions League place at the end of the season.
