The governor said the Supreme Court’s ruling translated to success, victory, unity and development, which, according to him is what the party campaigned for.

He gave thanks to Almighty Allah for making him come out victorious at the apex court, adding that anybody who stole a dime from the covers of the state would not go unpunished.

Fintiri also added that he would soon start to recover the resources of the state that have been embezzled by the past administration.

He said though the state has been battered and bruised, he is very optimistic that his administration would soon right the wrongs.

“Adamawa state, our only home has been battered and bruised but I am optimistic that it will heal,” he said.

Earlier, the state PDP chairman, Tahir Shehu, described the judgment as “victory for all."
