Being a single parent is no doubt a very tasking feat seeing as when a child is raised by both parents it is still not easy.

In this age and time, circumstances has led to a number of men and women being single parents and most times it is often due to the nonchalant attitude of their co-parent.

Just recently, Nigerian singer, 9ice’s ex-wife, Toni Payne, took to social media via her Instagram stories to share her thoughts on biological parents and whether they have an impact on their child’s life.

According to her, being a biological parent means nothing if they do not raise and care for the child. She said it simply means they exist and nothing more.

Payne added that those who raise, guide, love, care for and protect the child are the ones that truly matter in the child’s life. The mother of one said that some non-biological parents are more caring for the child than their real parents.

Just recently, Toni Payne took to social media to reveal that she has been raising her son with singer 9ice all by herself.

According to Payne, she has raised her and 9ice’s son 100% on her own and is very grateful to God for how far they have come.

Payne added that raising a child alone is no easy task but she hopes God gives them the things they need to adequately care for their children. She said single parents should always stay positive and refrain from negative energy because it affects things.
