Nsirim reiterated that the Rivers state governor did not at any point condemn the PDP's protest.

The information commissioner accused the 'moles' within the PDP for spreading the misinformation about Governor Wike.

Legit.ng notes, however, that some political analysts condemned the PDP protest, saying it is inappropriate for the opposition party to march against a Supreme Court verdict.

Gimba Kakanda, a public affairs analyst, condemned the PDP's protest in a Twitter post.

"Why is this on the official page of the PDP? It’s advisable you adhere to Atiku’s position, that “the Rule of law must guide our paths even if logic sheds light on a different path.”

That a court ruling didn’t favour, isn’t the reason to challenge the rule of law this way," he tweeted.

Another Twitter user, Abdullahi Yusuf, condemned the protest.

His words: "The protest on the Supreme Court judgement of imo state should not be promoted or done by the PDP....if the people are bitter about the courts ruling, then they should protest...it shouldn’t be a PDP protest."
