Biodun Okeowo aka Omoborty speaks about her prominent curves, says they cannot be hidden

Nollywood actress Biodun Okeowo popularly known as Omoborty has gained prominence in the movie industry not only because of her talent on screen but because of her curvy nature.

The actress who is mostly known for her roles in Yoruba movies recently opened up about how she has been dealing with the attention that comes with her curves in an interview with The Sun.

Fielding a question about having an embarrassing moment during her childhood because of her curves, the actress made it clear she did not really have any awkward moments as such.

She, however, gave a brief narration about a man that used to refer to her as ‘Iya Iyabo’ back when she used to reside in Kaduna state.

According to her, the man-made a comment about how the size of her hips is not proportionate to her age, and how she had a tendency to grow out bigger hips when she starts to bear children.

Okeowo said the incident made her become more conscious of her curvy nature. The actress said even her skinny body frame could not hide her hips.

She said: "I never had any embarrassing moment per se. But I remember a certain man that used to call me ‘Iya Iyabo’ in Kaduna then, because of my massive hips. He was like ‘If you born, this your yansh go full everywhere o; because you never born, the thing too big’. So, that made me conscious of my shape; as skinny as I was then, my curves couldn’t be hidden."

On whether her curves has opened doors for in the entertainment industry, the pretty movie star stated that God has been the only one opening doors for her, not her curves or any other human.

"Curves opening doors? (laughter). I don’t even socialise. God has been my door opener, not curves or anybody," Omoborty said.

Earlier on in 2019, Legit.ng reported that Omoborty admitted that acting doesn’t guarantee the kind of wealth actors flaunt on social media.

She stated that most actors have found footing in business and concentrate on it because it is more profitable. According to her, acting only helps in bringing fame, popularity and creating a wonderful platform for some actors to sell their products to supportive fans.
