Real Madrid on Saturday, January 18, moved to the top of the Spanish La Liga standings after beating visiting Sevilla 2-1 at the Santiago Bernabeu.

The first half however ended goalless as both teams failed to find the back of the net.

But the visitors restored parity in the 64th minute through Luuk De Jong who was assisted by Muni El Haddadi.
Casemiro scored the winner for Real Madrid in the 69th minute after getting an assist from Lucas Vazquez for Real Madrid to win 2-1.
Los Blancos will now wait for the outcome of Barcelona vs Granada tie which will be played on Sunday, January 19.
