Oakland Raiders rookie, Josh Jacobs, started off the new year with an unforgettable gesture to his dad.
The former University of Alabama running back thanked his dad for all the sacrifices he made by buying him a new house.
According to an article on the Raiders' official website, Jacobs came from humble beginnings and he had to sleep in his dad's car at one point in his life while growing up.
Knowing what it was like being homeless and seeing the sacrifices his father made to look after him and his siblings, Jacobs wanted to give back to his dad.

Reports revealed that the 21-year-old star bought the house for his father in Stillwater, Oklahoma.
Taking to Twitter, Jacobs gushed about having the opportunity to give back to his dad.
"Blessed, just bought my pops a house," he wrote.
The Raiders also posted a video of Jacobs' dad's reaction on Twitter.
The post was captioned: "An unforgettable gesture. @iAM_JoshJacobs thanked his father for his sacrifices growing by buying him a home in Oklahoma."
Social media users applauded Jacobs for giving back to his dad in the comment section.
Twitter user, @stunna1121, commented: "How proud his father must be not because of the home but of the man his son has become and to remember his beginnings."
