Super Eagles star Ogenyi Onazi has joined Turkish Super League side Denizlispor as a free agent hours after announcing his departure from Trabzonspor on the same day.
The Nigerian football star who won the Africa Cup of Nations title in 2013 spent most part of 2019 on the sidelines due to the terrible injury he suffered on December 24, 2018.
It took the former Lazio player about 252 days before recovering from the Achilles tendon rupture problems - missing 29 crucial games in the process.
Onazi needed another 94 days to return to full fitness before finally staging a return for the club last month.

The Super Eagles star has now been shown the exit doors a few months left on his deal after making just two appearances so far this campaign.

During his three-and-a-half seasons at Medical Park Stadium, the 27-year-old scored seven goals and assisted four others in 79 matches.
Meanwhile, the Nigerian star has penned an emotional farewell to the fans and supporters of the club, thanking them for backing him for the years he represented them.
"My gratitude and loyalty goes to the wonderful fans of this great club Trabzonspor, I will never forget the love, respect, and passion you guys have shown me from day one.
"I already have a special place in my heart for each and every one of you... I wish you all happiness because you all deserve to be happy and good luck for the rest of the season".
Onazi broke into the national team in 2012 and scored once in 51 appearances for Nigeria and won the 2013 AFCON title to crown his efforts.
