He went on to say that the purpose of the attack was to prove to the US that Iran's military is superior and has more letahl forces at any given time.

The commander boasted: “The physical destruction was just because we wanted to say that we are so much more superior to the enemy that we can hit any point we choose.”

Meanwhile, Legit.ng reported that President of the United States of America, Donald Trump, on Sunday, January 12, gave new conditions to embattled Iran amid tension over the detention of British ambassador Rob Macaire.

Macaire was allegedly arrested following a protest in Iran that resulted from the recent attack on a Ukranian plane by the Iranian Army.

The plane crashed killing all 176 people on board. In a series of tweets, in reply to a protest that happened in the Middle East country, Trump asked Iran to stop persecuting its people.

Among the demands made by Trump to the leaders of Iran include that they should not kill those protesting against the tragedy that befell a Ukranian plane after it was struck by missiles.

"Thousands have already been killed or imprisoned by you, and the world is watching. More importantly, the USA is watching. Turn your internet back on and let reporters roam free! Stop the killing of your great Iranian people!” Trump said.
