Liverpool have now set a milestone record after defeating Tottenham 1-0 in a week 21 fixture played in north London.

The Reds are unbeaten so far in 21 matches which have earned them 61 points in their quest to win their first Premier League title in over 30 years.

The points now represent the best tally in a campaign in Europe's top five leagues after the Merseyside won their 20th match in 21 games.

Jurgen Klopp's side are yet to taste defeat this season and have been forced to a draw against Man United at Old Trafford during the first half of the season.
