- Olivier Giroud could be joining Tottenham Hotspur this month
- The Frenchman was said to have agreed a deal with Inter Milan
- Giroud is not comfortable with his bench-warming roles at Chelsea and wants out of Stamford Bridge
Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly considering a move for out-of-favour Chelsea star Olivier Giroud who has been frozen out of Frank Lampard's squad.
The 2018 FIFA World Cup-winning star has made just six appearances across competitions so far this campaign - though, with no goals or assists to show for it.
Since he is not wanted by the Blues current coach, the 33-year-old is hoping to revive his dwindling career away from Stamford Bridge.
Meanwhile, Inter Milan are making a move for the France international with Antonio Conte hoping to reunite with his former star this month.
However, Jose Mourinho's Spurs have also made the attacker a key target as a replacement for Harry Kane, who has been ruled out until April due to hamstring injury.
Former Tottenham star Chris Waddle feels Giroud is the man to take the center forward role at the club until the return of Kane later this season.
The Mirror reports that Inter and Giroud have agreed on a deal but Chelsea boss claims nothing of such has taken place just yet.
“Olivier Giroud seems to be one of the big-name stars being linked with Spurs and I’m sure there are a number of clubs looking at the French World Cup winner," Waddle told the Racing Post.

Meanwhile, Lampard has admitted for the first time that Chelsea do not necessarily need to sign a replacement for Giroud to leave this month.
