The Nigerian Army has embarked on some humanitarian activities in the north east region of Nigeria.
The activities by some troops of the Nigerian Army follow rescue operations of some abducted residents of the region from the captivity of Boko Haram terrorists' group.
Some photos seen by Legit.ng revealed that some of the troops cleared the habitat area on the top of Gwoze hills in Borno state.
The troops also rescued some women, children and old men from the den of the insurgents in the area.
Also, some of the children rescued were being catered for while others were administered oral polio vaccine by the troops.
Meanwhile, Legit.ng previously reported that President Muhammadu Buhari has approved the construction of 10,000 houses in Borno state.
The approval by the president, Legit.ng gathered is part of the effort by the Federal Government to rehabilitate residents of the state who had lost their homes in the various attack by insurgents.
