Lionel Messi's row with Atletico Madrid youngster Joao Felix has taken another dimension as fans have taken the incident to social media.
The Barcelona captain was involved in a misunderstanding with the youngster shortly after the first half whistle was blown during the Spanish Super Cup semi-finals.
And it took the intervention of players to separate both players after Felix was believed to have said something to Messi that provoked the Barcelona talisman.

Gerard Pique was among players that divided the players while Luis Suarez raged at the 20-year-old.
Spanish officials also waded into the situation before calm was restored but fans believe Barcelona players were bullying the Portuguese international.
One fan said with a laughing emoji: "Typical Barca always do it they think they’re the best."
Another added: "Expect nothing less from Barca, vile attitudes throughout."
While the third one said: "Met @joaofelix70 & his a really nice guy. I think the Barcelona players are trying to provoke him."
Messi canceled out Koke's 46th minute strike before Antoine Griezmann put Barcelona ahead for the first time in the match.
But Atletico had other ideas as Alvaro Morata scored a penalty while Angel Correa got the winner in the 86th minute.
Diego Simone's side will now face city rivals Real Madrid in the final at the weekend.
Meanwhile, Legit.ng had earlier reported that Lionel Messi has thrown his weight behind embattled Barcelona manager Ernesto Valverde following the Spanish Super Cup semi-final defeat to Atletico Madrid.
The defeat is the latest slip up by the Spanish champions as pressure continues to mount on the future of Valverde.
