Real Madrid playmaker Toni Kroos on Wednesday night, January 8, had everyone talking after scoring directly from a corner during his side's 3-1 win over Valencia in the Spanish Supercopa clash.

Isco and Luka Modric found the back of the net in either side of halftime to extend Madrid's lead before Dani Parejo converted a consolation penalty for Valencia in added time.

Despite Real's emphatic win, it was Kroos' 15th minute stunner that stole the headlines, with fans left gushing over the German star.

Kroos swiftly placed the ball on the corner quadrant, took a few steps back before flying in a terrific right-footed strike past a helpless Jaume Doménech who was in goal for Valencia.
