Meanwhile, Legit.ng earlier reported that he bagged 10 Under 10 award of the Rockefeller College of Public Affairs and Policy of the State University of New York.

On how he won his election, Legit.ng also gathered that the 28-year-old had previously run for a seat in the city's Common Council in 2017 but lost but in 2019 before he decided to go for a higher elective post which he won.

With his election, Efekoro became the youngest member of the 39-member House of the Albany County Legislature.
