Israeli's prime minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, has warned all officials in Israel to stay away from the faceoff between America and Iran.

Netanyahu, speaking to his security cabinet, said Israel is not a party to the killing of Iranian top commander, Qassem Soleimani, who was killed in a US airstrike in Iraq.

Daily Mail UK reports that the Israeli's prime minister, who enjoys a close relationship with the US president, Donald Trump, had praised the country for taking strong action against Iran attack on the US embassy.

However, speaking on Tuesday, January 7, Netanyahu, warned all Israeli's ministers to desist from making media appearances on the issues between the US and Iran.

Netanyahu also described the fallout between the two countries as a US event.

He said: "The killing of Soleimani is a U.S. event, not an Israeli event, and we should stay out of it."

Meanwhile, Legit.ng previously reported that following the killing of Soleimani in an airstrike ordered by America, Iran on Tuesday, retaliated by striking two military bases housing U.S forces.

The Iranian government also claimed that at least 80 Americans were killed in attacks which involved 15 missiles launched on US targets in Iraq.

Iran also boasted that none of its missiles was intercepted during the attack on the US military bases in Iraq.
